Elly & Friends Birthday Card - MMSC22

Today is my Grandson's first Birthday and my daughter & I are leaving in two hours for a 5 hour road trip with a 3 month old & a 2 1/2 yr. old. YIKES!!!  We are going to Pittsburgh for Kolton's Birthday Party. They guys are coming out tomorrow. SMART!!!

So, here is one of the cards I made for him. I used the Midnight Madness Sketch 22 Challenge for the base of this card. The stamped image turned out too big to follow the sketch exactly. But, it's close.

The paper pack and the Happy 1st Birthday stamps are from Close to my Heart.
I used dew drops in the corners and matching embroidery floss for the hand stitching around the card.

What a great Birthday Card for your little Grandson...it's sure to be a keepsake with all the cute details and embellishments you have used. It is just adorable. My oldest son loved elephants...still does really. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside looking at it. Thanks for playing along with us at MMSC this week. Be sure to mark your Calendar for Oct 16 for our blog hop and your chance to win one of 25 prizes.

Another super sweet card using one of my favorite stamp sets! Again, your color choices and design are spot on!

So how was the loooong ride with the little ones? Hopefully they slept most of the way! I remember those days...
